If you would like to explore slightly further afield, the Ebro River is just 15 minutes away by car where we can arrange kayaking, canoeing, fishing and boat trips. 
Take the small river ferry and wander around Miravet Castle with its stunning riverside vistas, cafés and potteries, or explore the magical caves in Benifallet. Both are within 20 minutes, very reasonably priced and well worth a visit. Other favourite things to do are natural swimming in the gorges at Font Calda or cycling along the car-free Via Verde, winding its way along the disused railway lines, through tunnels and over bridges.

The Mediterranean coast, largely undeveloped with its secluded coves and sparkling sea, is only 20 minutes drive away, as is the Delta with its diverse and rich birdlife, rice paddy fields and the freshest seafood,
The small cities of Tarragona and Reus are within 45 minutes, both are easy to navigate, have lovely architecture and historical quarters to explore as well as great shopping and nightlife. For larger cities, Barcelona and Valencia are both an easy drive or train ride away and within two hours.
